Since Econaps was founded in 2013, by Kyla Geen, the company has focused on developing sustainably derived processes for the manufacture of re-useable cloth nappies, swim nappies and eco-friendly accessories.

From humble beginnings in Byron Bay Australia, Kyla has successfully expanded the Econaps business internationally to now supply to over 15 countries.

Kyla commented “I have always had a deep passion to explore nature and a drive to preserve it. Econaps is more than just a cloth nappy brand, it’s a catalyst for positive change on the world. My vision is to continue to raise awareness on environmental issues so that our children and future generations can enjoy this planet, like I am fortunate enough too, and I am excited to partner with Think Better Group who shares my vision around this.”

Econaps will join Ecoriginals, Australia’s leading plant based disposable nappy brand which was also founded in Byron Bay. Ecoriginals has operations in the USA, UK and UAE allowing Econaps  to leverage the global infrastructure of Ecoriginals to accelerate its ambitious global growth plans.

Justin Cameron, Chairman of TBG, commented, “Having followed the Econaps story since our early investment in Ecoriginals, I have been extremely impressed by Kyla’s ability to grow the brand into its market leading position in such a short period of time, whilst combining her relentless focus around sustainability. We look forward to sharing the next part of the journey together with Kyla and her team.”

Econaps will sit alongside TBGs growing portfolio of brands including Ecoriginals, Minor Figures, Project Blank, Colonna Coffee, Best Coffee and Peak Water.  Heath Jansen, CEO of TBG commented "Econaps is a fantastic addition to our group, and is a strong endorsement of our platform which allows environmental sustainable brands to grow globally, we welcome Kyla and her team"
